Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Al Brewer started the match with the kick off. Bran Allison made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Martin Petkov sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Petkov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bran Allison. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Bogdan Samokovliyski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Al Brewer's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Al Brewer in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bogdan Samokovliyski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bulgaria's Bogdan Samokovliyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conner Carragher in the 14th minute of play. Bogdan Samokovliyski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Brewer in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Australia's goal looked a bit too open when Rafail Klenov came free, but Bran Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Petkov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 22 played minutes Bulgaria got a freekick which was hit by Naycho Dotzov. Martin Petkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Bran Allison made a huge save. In the 26th minute Al Brewer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Samokovliyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Bulgaria's goal looked a bit too open when Al Brewer came free, but Bogdan Samokovliyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Australia's Al Brewer made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Samokovliyski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Australia's Bran Allison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Australia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conner Carragher in the 32nd minute of play forced Bulgaria's goalkeeper Bogdan Samokovliyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Australia's Conner Carragher sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bogdan Samokovliyski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bran Allison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Petkov in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Bulgaria were awarded a corner. Ignat Nozharov went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Ignat Nozharov got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bran Allison quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Naycho Dotzov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bran Allison having to interfere. Darin Prior hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. A collision led to Bulgaria getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Slavi Borisov hit a great ball. Biggs Worrall got a throw-in 45 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Al Brewer.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Martin Petkov stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Petkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Martin Petkov scored 2-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bran Allison, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Australia's Dallas Fasey was substituted for Jimmy Hendrix. In the 71st minute Conner Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Samokovliyski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bulgaria's attentive Slavi Borisov managed to snatch the ball when Paul Lord made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Bulgaria's Ilko Hindalov got a free kick in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Darin Prior sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Bogdan Samokovliyski threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Darin Prior this time. Bran Allison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marko Ruskov in the 81st minute of the match. Jasmine Brennan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Samokovliyski having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Jasmine Brennan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Samokovliyski. Bulgaria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jasmine Brennan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. In the 91st minute of the match, Jasmine Brennan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bogdan Samokovliyski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 91st play minutes Jasmine Brennan shot 3-4, a short shot which went by Bogdan Samokovliyski and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle went the supporters of Australia were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bulgaria side.
