With an extended leg and a bit of luck Glenn Fyfe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A.J. Ford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Glenn Fyfe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 진 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Rogelio Mendiola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 진 having to interfere. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Son Head Son stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glenn Fyfe came out of the goal and Son Head Son tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, South Korea's 김 진 got control of the ball when Ervigio Ojeda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind South Korea's goalkeeper 김 진, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, South Korea's goal looked a bit too open when Ervigio Ojeda came free, but 김 진 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ervigio Ojeda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 진 having to make a save. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Son Head Son in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gucci Dragon came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute A.J. Ford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Glenn Fyfe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ervigio Ojeda to make the kick off. Ervigio Ojeda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 김 진 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, A.J. Ford recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Glenn Fyfe. A.J. Ford showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when 섭 빙 got free with Glenn Fyfe in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, 섭 빙 put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Glenn Fyfe. 93 minutes into the match, 섭 빙 notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chile's Glenn Fyfe. Glenn Fyfe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
