The audience thought a goal was coming when Jurand Dylla got free with Arturo Balendin in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herbert Tamulewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Medardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Javier Mazuste in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Hubert Zdrojewski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Enaut in the 32nd minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Herbert Tamulewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristopher de Alcântara got free with Arturo Balendin in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the game, U21 Argentina's Silverio Medardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Tamulewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. U21 Poland made a substitution. Adolf Putin replaced Artur Walczak. 44 minutes into the game, Javier Mazuste threw the ball into play from the sideline. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristopher de Alcântara to make the kick off. Cristopher de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Balendin having to make a save. In the 59th minute Cristopher de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Balendin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herbert Tamulewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Medardo in the 65th minute of the match. Silverio Medardo scored 1-2 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Tamulewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. U21 Argentina's Arturo Balendin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Putin in the 76th minute of play. Arturo Balendin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Lewandowski in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute U21 Poland were awarded a corner. Jurand Dylla went to the cornerflag to take it. Roberto Lewandowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Arturo Balendin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herbert Tamulewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Jakobe, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Lewandowski in the 87th minute of play forced U21 Argentina's goalkeeper Arturo Balendin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's goalkeeper Herbert Tamulewicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Firmo.
