Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute U21 Sweden were awarded a corner. Bennvar Elin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on U21 Sweden's corner Benjamin Gold fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gia Buffon quite easily take care of the ball. Bennvar Elin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Gia Buffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Sweden. An unexpectedly hard shot by Snorre Hård in the 19th minute of play forced U21 Estonia's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bennvar Elin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Honu Ng got free with Gia Buffon in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isak Jacobsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tõnis Lukas in the 37th minute of the match. Honu Ng could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Gia Buffon made a huge save. Gia Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bennvar Elin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benjamin Gold got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Sigvard Termander. 53 minutes into the match, U21 Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Honu Ng came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Lennart Hermansson replaced Honu Ng. U21 Sweden made a substitution. Timmy Otieno replaced Bennvar Elin. A sloppy throw-in by Benjamin Gold in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by U21 Estonia's Sven Karai. Tõnis Lukas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isak Jacobsson having to make a save. U21 Estonia's Lendl Orav was substituted for Sven Karai. Isak Jacobsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ott Kalju in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute Sigvard Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gia Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timmy Otieno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gia Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gia Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, U21 Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Hermansson came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gia Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Sjö, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, U21 Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Lars Sjö came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Sjö fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gia Buffon having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Olari Kullamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Estonia's Gia Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Sjö in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennart Hermansson in the 91st minute of play forced U21 Estonia's goalkeeper Gia Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. U21 Sweden walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
