Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when C.J. Braut Haaland took the kick off in the first half of the match. C.J. Braut Haaland had several of the Italy's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 13 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ciccio Bocchi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Filippo Perna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frode Øren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. C.J. Braut Haaland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ciccio Bocchi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigurd Storhaug kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 31st minute of the match Italy got a corner. Norway's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domenico Pesce ran over to the corner to take the kick. Italy's Filippo Perna got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigurd Storhaug got a throw-in 40 minutes in the game and the ball was received by C.J. Braut Haaland. 41 minutes into the match, Filippo Perna notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Norway's Frode Øren. Frode Øren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes, Mattia Hummels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italy and the Norway players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Mattia Hummels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Norway's Ingar Holden was substituted for Adam Fauske. The wind increased when Filippo Perna made the kick off in the second half. When Italy's Filippo Perna in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Norway's goalie prevented a goal. Filippo Perna struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Frode Øren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. In the 64th minute Filippo Perna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frode Øren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.J. Braut Haaland might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciccio Bocchi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. C.J. Braut Haaland ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciccio Bocchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from C.J. Braut Haaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norway's Frode Øren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filippo Perna in the 75th minute of play. Ciccio Bocchi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from C.J. Braut Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Italy were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Norway's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domenico Pesce took the corner. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Angelo Banana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Frode Øren quite easily take care of the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Pozzoli to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Norway booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugenio Cherubini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Ciccio Bocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sondre Sjursen in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Angelo Banana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciccio Bocchi came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Norway's Sondre Sjursen. But to his dismay, Sondre Sjursen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
