Seating: 1184, VIP seats: 103) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marco Delecluse got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Poland's Zygmunt Dranka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mike Starck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dylan Grégoire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Lato in the 18th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Mike Starck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 minutes France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tymoteusz Serwach who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Poland's Korneliusz Cizeski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 25th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Farges to maneuver through the defense. Mike Starck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pankracy Lato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Pankracy Lato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Starck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matthieu Mechain took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grzegorz Piechna. Grzegorz Piechna dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some careless play in the France defense, Tymoteusz Serwach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Starck. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Starck should have stopped the shot. Grzegorz Piechna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Delecluse in the 46th minute of the match. Grzegorz Piechna was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Dylan Grégoire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dylan Grégoire really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. France made a substitution. Alexis Rijkaard replaced Cheikh Ober. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zygmunt Dranka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Poland's Grzegorz Piechna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Grégoire in the 56th minute of play. If Pankracy Lato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grzegorz Piechna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Delecluse in the 62nd minute of play. Mike Starck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zygmunt Dranka in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zygmunt Dranka in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Starck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 74 minutes, Marco Delecluse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Delecluse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Poland's Jaroslaw Milko was substituted for Aleksander Waselenczuk. France's Fabrice Féral was substituted for Dimitri Bellard. Grzegorz Piechna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Collomb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tymoteusz Serwach was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Tymoteusz Serwach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mike Starck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, France's Mike Starck got control of the ball when Tymoteusz Serwach tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Lato in the 86th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Mike Starck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Poland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tymoteusz Serwach in the 88th minute. The corner ended in Tymoteusz Serwach almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but France's Mike Starck did a great save. 91 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Wolnik came free, but Mike Starck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Franklin Collomb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Grzegorz Piechna was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Poland's Grzegorz Piechna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Cavelier in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Collomb in the 96th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Grzegorz Piechna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 99 minutes into the match, Poland's Iwo Wolnik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Starck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
