Hatem Negrouz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lajos Balázs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Dániel Havasi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tunisia's Hatem Negrouz. Hatem Negrouz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hatem Negrouz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szilárd Újváry, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Hatem Negrouz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lajos Balázs in the 17th minute of play. Hatem Negrouz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lajos Balázs in the 18th minute of the match. Chems Salhia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Norbert Török made a huge save. Dániel Havasi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Nikoll Kidman hit a great ball. Tunisia's Hatem Negrouz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dániel Havasi in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Tunisia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lajos Balázs ran over to the corner to take the kick. 43 minutes into the game, Hungary's Szilárd Újváry nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hatem Negrouz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
