Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonello Messias in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladislav Orahovac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The throw-in from Vladimir Arsenović in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Marek Popowicz. In the 71st minute Stevica Tomanić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Kieca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The U21 Serbia supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 Poland's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 Poland.
