Ivan Mezin stood somewhat misplaced when Baltasar Euloxu came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. 7 minutes into the game, Baltasar Euloxu lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Ivan Mezin. Nikanor Maerov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18thth minute of the game Baltasar Euloxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Belarus's Ivan Mezin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to U21 Belarus getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nikanor Maerov hit a great ball. Baltasar Euloxu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ivan Mezin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Mexico. After 24th play minutes Baltasar Euloxu shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Ivan Mezin and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, U21 Belarus's Ivan Mezin got control of the ball when Baltasar Euloxu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Baltasar Euloxu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Mezin. U21 Belarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Euloxu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Baltasar Euloxu sped through U21 Belarus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Mezin. 44 minutes into the match, U21 Belarus's goalkeeper Ivan Mezin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltasar Euloxu. U21 Mexico's Gaudencio Pancho was substituted for Tiburcio Herauso. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zdzislaw Motowski to strike the kick off in the second half. If Zdzislaw Motowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of U21 Mexico booed when U21 Belarus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nikanor Maerov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikanor Maerov's late challenge caught a U21 Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nikanor Maerov helped the player get up and apologised. Nikanor Maerov hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Motowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Mezin. U21 Belarus's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zdzislaw Motowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Ivan Mezin came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Mexico's Zdzislaw Motowski. But to his dismay, Zdzislaw Motowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 65 minutes into the game, U21 Mexico's Zdzislaw Motowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Mezin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Ivan Mezin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Motowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Zdzislaw Motowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Mezin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zdzislaw Motowski ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Zdzislaw Motowski put it in 12-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ivan Mezin. After 81 minutes, Zdzislaw Motowski made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Belarus's Ivan Mezin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zdzislaw Motowski in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Mezin saved U21 Belarus from getting behind. Zdzislaw Motowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ivan Mezin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When U21 Mexico's Zdzislaw Motowski in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Belarus's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Zdzislaw Motowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Zdzislaw Motowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Mezin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Mexico walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
