Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Junior Bruno started the match with the kick off. Daniel Kieca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Junior Bruno in the 5th minute of the match. Daniel Kieca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Bruno's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. If Dawid Cizeski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. U21 Ireland's Thom MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawid Cizeski in the 17th minute of play. Thom MaCollin made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Dawid Cizeski sent off a good shot on target. U21 Poland's Salvatore Del Gatto managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Emmet McAaron in the 25 minute of the game. The throw-in from Troy Molloy in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Jerzy Gorgoń. U21 Ireland's Thom MaCollin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Ireland from getting a goal against them. When Salvatore Del Gatto fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Poland's protests and gave Salvatore Del Gatto a yellow card for diving instead. After 32 played minutes U21 Poland got a freekick which was hit by Salvatore Del Gatto. The throw-in from Emmet McAaron in the 36th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Poland's Salvatore Del Gatto. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Junior Bruno sped through U21 Poland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Daniel Kieca. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
U21 Ireland made a substitution. Bourns Kirby replaced Brenn Caffey. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dawid Cizeski was the one to do the kick off. In the 54thth minute of the game Dawid Cizeski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Ireland's Thom MaCollin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thom MaCollin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dawid Cizeski in the 58th minute of play. U21 Poland made a substitution. Diego Armando Dolić replaced Wawrzyniec Dejo. U21 Ireland's Toran Hamilton was substituted for Donlevy Moran. U21 Poland made a substitution. Sebastian Kieca replaced Dawid Cizeski. U21 Ireland's Binean Walker was substituted for Troy Molloy. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Junior Bruno in the 76th minute of play. When Sebastian Kieca came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the U21 Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Kieca couldn't finish the play. Thom MaCollin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kieca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Konstanty Brzęczyszczykiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Kazimierz Kapinos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thom MaCollin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Cezary Makomaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thom MaCollin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
