Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Édouard Gazeau made the kick off which started today's match. Bruno Beugnet took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billy Cinq-Mars. Billy Cinq-Mars dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The supporters of Switzerland booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Beugnet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teddy Cotte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Zurbuchen in the 11th minute of the match. Bruno Beugnet got his second yellow card in the match during the 12th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 13 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beugnet. Kylian Noyon scored 2-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Billy Cinq-Mars, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the France defense, Moritz Panara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teddy Cotte. The France fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teddy Cotte should have stopped the shot. In the 29th minute Harold Gielen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy Cotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Billy Cinq-Mars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrice Féral in the 33rd minute of the match. When Samuel Zurbuchen came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel Zurbuchen couldn't finish the play. Kylian Noyon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Teddy Cotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moritz Panara in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Éthan Boucault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Diego Farges hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moritz Panara was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of France booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Günther Alessandro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Moritz Panara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teddy Cotte. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moritz Panara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. After 57 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Fabrice Féral. In the 59th minute, Fabrice Féral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 61 in the game by Harold Gielen from a close distance when the talented Teddy Cotte managed to make a qualified save. France's players were relieved. Kara Kartal hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. With a little luck, France's Teddy Cotte got control of the ball when Moritz Panara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 67 minutes, Moritz Panara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Switzerland and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 67 played minutes Switzerland got a freekick which was hit by Moritz Panara. France's Teddy Cotte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. France's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diego Farges in the 83rd minute. The supporters of Switzerland booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kylian Noyon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Switzerland's Harold Gielen got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diego Farges fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 92nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Switzerland eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
