Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hans-Georg Luabunnum started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, U21 Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clément Lenglet to maneuver through the defense. If Zlatan Winger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of U21 Spain booed when U21 Sweden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Etxave Saura charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Etxave Saura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marta Rey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ove Salkvist in the 88th minute of play. Ove Salkvist scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marta Rey, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. U21 Sweden had won after a very even match.
