Ahmid Guillaumet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chap Villajane having to interfere. After 27 minutes U21 France's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Primeiro Luciano who took care of the corner kick. U21 France's Bruno Martini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save U21 France from getting a goal against them. If Lisandro Moñiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chap Villajane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Beauval in the 34th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, U21 France's Abraham Beauval nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chap Villajane made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

U21 France's Bruno Martini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Moñiz in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, U21 France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florent Thorez to maneuver through the defense. Florent Thorez kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Gumaro Leturia made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. U21 France's Bruno Martini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Florent Thorez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Uruguay made a substitution. Leonel Vados replaced Rolando Gort. Chap Villajane showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Beauval, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 81 minutes into the game, Astor Baltuile cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Bruno Martini was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Geronimo Infiesto kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Geronimo Infiesto made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Leonel Vados immediately put the ball in play. Bruno Martini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Vados in the 94th minute of the match. U21 Uruguay walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
