Seating: 1185, VIP seats: 103) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradon Grant kicked off to start the match. In the 8thth minute of the game Miquel Tassara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Ireland's Perry Moran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Chile's José Alejandro Seisdedos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Pele in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riddock McDecland during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, one of U21 Ireland:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for U21 Ireland. The audience was convinced that Narcomillo Paez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perry Moran was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miquel Tassara in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perry Moran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Miquel Tassara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 Ireland's Perry Moran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Miquel Tassara sped through U21 Ireland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Perry Moran. Miquel Tassara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Moran having to interfere. Perry Moran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miquel Tassara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lou Deans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Perry Moran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcomillo Paez in the 30th minute of play. Bradon Grant might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over José Alejandro Seisdedos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradon Grant ran back to his position shaking his head. Abdón Maeztu struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Perry Moran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Chile. When U21 Chile's Narcomillo Paez in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 Ireland's goalie prevented a goal. Pau Halat kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Perry Moran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdón Maeztu in the 43rd minute of the match.
U21 Chile's José Alejandro Seisdedos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradon Grant in the 53rd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Bradon Grant made a precise shot to the right of José Alejandro Seisdedos. U21 Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 62 minutes into the match, U21 Ireland's goal looked a bit too open when Abdón Maeztu came free, but Perry Moran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Ireland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Miquel Tassara scored to the left of an out of position Perry Moran, making the score, 1-3. U21 Chile's Aníbal Uriona was substituted for Narcomillo Paez. U21 Chile's Yerko Speed was substituted for Miquel Tassara. After 70 minutes U21 Ireland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pau Halat who took care of the corner kick. Perry Moran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Uriona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Perry Moran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aníbal Uriona in the 76th minute. José Alejandro Seisdedos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Pele, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aníbal Uriona in the 83rd minute of play forced U21 Ireland's goalkeeper Perry Moran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, U21 Chile's Aníbal Uriona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The referee ignored U21 Chile's protests and gave Leonardo Jordan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of U21 Ireland booed when U21 Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Jordan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The U21 Chile supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing U21 Chile would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
