Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ignatius Abancens in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donavon Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. U21 Bolivia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yoel Abancens in the 7th minute. The corner led U21 Bolivia's Sandro Coelho to fire away a dangerous shot which Donavon Doyle despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Baird Coyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Sandro Coelho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. U21 Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave U21 Ireland the free kick. After 17 played minutes U21 Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Sandro Coelho. In the 19th match minute, U21 Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, U21 Ireland's Tate McBjarton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cheche Abaunza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, U21 Bolivia's Ignatius Abancens got a free kick in the 21st minute. U21 Ireland's Donavon Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eron Abel in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Sandro Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Phillip Hunt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cheche Abaunza. Phillip Hunt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of U21 Ireland booed when U21 Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Marvin Bejarano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After having played for 53 minutes, Ignatius Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Bolivia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatius Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the U21 Bolivia defense, Phillip Hunt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cheche Abaunza. The U21 Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cheche Abaunza should have stopped the shot. U21 Bolivia's Gustavo Quinteros was substituted for Cordearo Abadia. The throw-in from Ronaldo Gordo in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Bolivia's Weterio Abendano. 62 minutes into the game, Ignatius Abancens recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donavon Doyle. Ignatius Abancens showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Lou Deans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheche Abaunza having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eron Abel in the 70th minute of play forced U21 Ireland's goalkeeper Donavon Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eron Abel took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donavon Doyle. Donavon Doyle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. U21 Bolivia made a substitution. Lazcano Abella replaced Dolfos Abar. 78 minutes into the match, Eron Abel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Donavon Doyle, 2-3. Donavon Doyle was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Ignatius Abancens capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignatius Abancens really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Donavon Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignatius Abancens in the 84th minute. 85 minutes into the game, one of U21 Bolivia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Phillip Hunt might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cheche Abaunza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phillip Hunt ran back to his position shaking his head. Cheche Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bodibeve McJohn in the 92nd minute of the match. U21 Bolivia's Cheche Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley John in the 93rd minute of play. Cheche Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bodibeve McJohn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 98 minutes into the match, U21 Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Deans came free, but Cheche Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U21 Bolivia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
