Faulk in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, USA's C.J. Hawthorne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pol Laime made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Wyatt Flanagan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belarmo Villaquiran's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Pol Laime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from C.J. Hawthorne in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute C.J. Hawthorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pol Laime saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pol Laime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Westbrook in the 24th minute of play. Pol Laime showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from C.J. Ozzy Osbourne made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Darrell Pepper however managed to control. Pol Laime took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from C.J. Hawthorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wyatt Flanagan came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Belarmo Villaquiran. But to his dismay, Belarmo Villaquiran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Pol Laime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Westbrook in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by C.J. Hawthorne in the 44th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Pol Laime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Artal Villarias. Artal Villarias hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell C.J. Hawthorne to make the kick off. Pol Laime made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.C. Faulk in the 54th minute of play. Ozzy Osbourne charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ozzy Osbourne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a long run with the ball, Jairo Morquecho did a trick in the 82nd minute in front of USA's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 3-4. An impressive performance by Peru's Jairo Morquecho! Pol Laime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Pollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaun Mahoney in the 86th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Pol Laime to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pol Laime showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaun Mahoney, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The Peru fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. USA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
