Zdeněk Sádovský made an important save on a dangerous shot by Konstantin Faragó in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute Josef Koutek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richárd Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josef Koutek in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richárd Simon saved Hungary from getting behind. Václav Andrš kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Konstantin Faragó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zdeněk Sádovský showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konstantin Faragó in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Konstantin Faragó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zdeněk Sádovský was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goalkeeper Zdeněk Sádovský had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstantin Faragó. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantin Faragó in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zdeněk Sádovský prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 42 minutes on the clock, Jonáš Kuhn commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Czech Republic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! In the 47th minute, Hungary's Konstantin Faragó dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Václav Andrš made the kick off in the second half. Hungary's Márton Jászberényi was substituted for Konstantin Faragó. Hungary's Ádám Sári was substituted for Cesare Maldini. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Norbert Török got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, Czech Republic's Václav Andrš ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Richárd Simon. Richárd Simon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-1. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Czech Republic! Zdeněk Sádovský had in the 89thth minute some difficulties stopping Bertalan Hegedűs's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Márton Jászberényi in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdeněk Sádovský saved Czech Republic from getting behind. After 92 minutes, Márton Jászberényi made it 8-1 with a short kick to the right side. Czech Republic's Zdeněk Sádovský tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zdeněk Sádovský didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hungary's Márton Jászberényi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After a rather tough play, Hungary's José Ramsey got a free kick in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hungary had won after a very even match.
