Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Claude Burkhart kicked off to start the match. Isaias Galarneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxime Moench, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th minute, Eustache Holman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hani Alles was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Hani Alles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claude Burkhart in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claude Burkhart in the 15th minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hani Alles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20thth minute of the game Claude Burkhart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Switzerland's Hani Alles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isaias Galarneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxime Moench in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilien Jacques in the 23rd minute of play forced Switzerland's goalkeeper Hani Alles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lester Fenstermacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Galarneau having to interfere. In the 26th minute Eustache Holman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hani Alles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Switzerland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modestine Daigle was slow to take the kick. During this time Canada's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Canada's Wes Steele to a score. 0-2 in the 28th minute. Wes Steele blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hani Alles having to make a save. Hani Alles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustache Holman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Canada booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Riegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lester Fenstermacher to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claude Burkhart got free with Hani Alles in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Canada's Isaias Galarneau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lester Fenstermacher in the 78th minute of play. Hani Alles made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Eustache Holman sent off a good shot on target. Hani Alles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilien Jacques in the 84th minute of the match. With a little luck, Switzerland's Hani Alles got control of the ball when Claude Burkhart tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximilien Jacques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hani Alles. That made the score 0-4 in the 88 minute of play. Switzerland's Macho Boy was substituted for Maxime Moench. Switzerland made a substitution. Gisbert Jost replaced Lester Fenstermacher. A collision led to Switzerland getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Stefan Riegler hit a great ball. After 96 minutes Canada's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eric Monday von Witzendorff who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Gisbert Jost managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Canada had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
