Seating: 236, VIP seats: 20) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iwo Wolnik made the kick off which started today's match. Poland's Aleksander Mroczynski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Egidio Bedenik, made in the 3rd minute of the game. Slovenia's Julien Malenšek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaw Petrasz in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th minute, Gustaw Petrasz made a precise shot to the right of Julien Malenšek. Slovenia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Julien Malenšek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Wolnik's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Poland's Iwo Wolnik got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julien Malenšek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Wolnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. If Gustaw Petrasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Wolnik in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julien Malenšek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kvirin Virant in the 30th minute of play forced Poland's goalkeeper Benedykt Gierlach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julien Malenšek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iwo Wolnik went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Iwo Wolnik hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Poland's goalkeeper Benedykt Gierlach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kvirin Virant. 39 minutes in the game Egidio Bedenik did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Kvirin Virant. After some careless play in the Slovenia defense, Iwo Wolnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julien Malenšek. The Slovenia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julien Malenšek should have stopped the shot. Julien Malenšek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Wolnik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
In the 52nd minute Iwo Wolnik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Malenšek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led to Poland's Ante Rebić getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Julien Malenšek was a little too slow when Iwo Wolnik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 0-5. Poland's Witold Chazen was substituted for Stanislaw Tobaczewski. Emilijano Kolar made in the 63rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Kvirin Virant however managed to control. Poland's Stanislaw Bronder was substituted for Ante Rebić. A sloppy throw-in by Emilijano Kolar in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Poland's Aleksander Mroczynski. Witold Chazen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. From close distance Waclaw Domaradzki pressed in the 0-7 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 79 minutes into the game. Waclaw Domaradzki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julien Malenšek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute Poland were awarded a corner. Gustaw Petrasz went to the cornerflag to take it. Poland's Gustaw Petrasz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julien Malenšek in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute, Waclaw Domaradzki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waclaw Domaradzkis short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Julien Malenšek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julien Malenšek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Petrasz in the 91st minute of the match. Gustaw Petrasz made a great header on Poland's corner, it was just that Slovenia's Julien Malenšek managed to reach the ball for a save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Poland had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
