The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ireland's Farrell Bayes was substituted for Harley Frankson. The wind increased when Galon Abbey made the kick off in the second half. Blaine Keegan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafim Ossman having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaine Keegan got free with Serafim Ossman in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
