A collision led to U21 MZ Country getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Mimoun Zaaboub hit a great ball. U21 MZ Country's Larbi Hima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Temitope Emokpae in the 3rd minute of play. If Abderraouf Bouguerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnmark Adefulu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabah Ammour in the 7th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Temitope Emokpae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Larbi Hima was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, U21 MZ Country's Frantz Madouni got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, U21 Nigeria's Temitope Emokpae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Larbi Hima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mimoun Zaaboub's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnmark Adefulu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Temitope Emokpae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Larbi Hima made a huge save. After 29 minutes of play, U21 Nigeria's Temitope Emokpae made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Larbi Hima was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32ndth minute of the game Temitope Emokpae who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but U21 MZ Country's Larbi Hima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. U21 Nigeria's Johnmark Adefulu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abderraouf Bouguerra in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of U21 MZ Country booed when U21 Nigeria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ifenemonye Mbabaotu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match U21 MZ Country got a corner. U21 Nigeria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. René Aboulker ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mimoun Zaaboub was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. U21 MZ Country's Larbi Hima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save U21 MZ Country from getting a goal against them. U21 Nigeria's Baba Omeire was substituted for Ettah Omolola. In the 49th minute, Frantz Madouni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Larbi Hima came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Nigeria's Temitope Emokpae. But to his dismay, Temitope Emokpae quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Larbi Hima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Temitope Emokpae in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute of the match U21 Nigeria got a corner. U21 MZ Country's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Okagbue Ademayowa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Okagbue Ademayowa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Larbi Hima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 61st minute Temitope Emokpae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Larbi Hima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Johnmark Adefulu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 66 minutes into the match, U21 MZ Country's goal looked a bit too open when Temitope Emokpae came free, but Larbi Hima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. U21 Nigeria were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after U21 MZ Country's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Okagbue Ademayowa took the corner. After taking down the ball on U21 Nigeria's corner Okagbue Ademayowa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Larbi Hima quite easily take care of the ball. U21 MZ Country's Larbi Hima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Temitope Emokpae in the 68th minute of play. Abderraouf Bouguerra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Johnmark Adefulu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When U21 Nigeria's Nsofor Lala in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U21 MZ Country's goalie prevented a goal. Ismael Macias's late challenge caught a U21 Nigeria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Macias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Ismael Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nsofor Lala scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Larbi Hima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Juliusz Julius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnmark Adefulu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 99th match minute, U21 Nigeria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ifenemonye Mbabaotu to maneuver through the defense. U21 Nigeria's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
