The Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Toro should have stopped the shot. Argentina's Leo Mattioli was substituted for Walter Bonacker. Argentina's Ratan Ayala was substituted for Arturo Mina. Argentina's Melchor Mercurio was substituted for Daniel Tristan. Argentina's Eliseo Toro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gmariah Gearan in the 66th minute of play. Fu Kang Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Orlandus in the 71st minute of play. Eliseo Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gmariah Gearan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Gmariah Gearan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. China's 龙铮铮 was substituted for Gmariah Gearan. Qi Lin Zhen made in the 82nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Qiu Chong Chang immediately put the ball in play. 85 minutes into the match, Argentina's goal looked a bit too open when 龙铮铮 came free, but Eliseo Toro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Argentina defense, 龙铮铮 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eliseo Toro. The Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eliseo Toro should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The China fans cheered their team off the field, for while Argentina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
