Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aaro Kangaskorpi started the match with the kick off. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Scotland's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Erno Alanko was slow to take the kick. During this time Finland's players had a chance to rest. Shane Campbell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaro Kangaskorpi in the 9th minute of the match. Robert Pitkänen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conor Ashmore in the 13th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rory Hallyard got free with Robert Pitkänen in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elliot Carr sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute Elliot Carr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Pitkänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
