Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ronaldo Lima kicked off to start the match. Stig Siöman made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Henrik Risdal sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the U21 Sweden defense, Henrik Risdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stig Siöman. The U21 Sweden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stig Siöman should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Lima in the 11th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Stig Siöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ronaldo Lima let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 11th minute shot 2-0 at rihgt post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørgen Axelsen in the 15th minute of play forced U21 Sweden's goalkeeper Stig Siöman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stig Siöman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrik Risdal in the 17th minute. The corner led to U21 Norway's Henrik Risdal getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ole-Kristian Hole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Algot Nyström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, U21 Norway's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Lind came free, but Ole-Kristian Hole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Jørgen Axelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Siöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes U21 Sweden's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Markus Nordvik who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Markus Nordvik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stig Siöman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Lind in the 33rd minute of play forced U21 Norway's goalkeeper Ole-Kristian Hole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Stig Siöman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Algot Nyström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ole-Kristian Hole was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. In the 43rd match minute, U21 Sweden was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Lind to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Henrik Risdal made a precise shot to the right of Stig Siöman. U21 Sweden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Lind to strike the kick off in the second half. Stig Siöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Axelsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 63 minutes, Martin Västlund mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Sweden and the U21 Norway players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Miloš Krasić. Stig Siöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tormod Sommerseth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Sweden's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Markus Nordvik was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Norway's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of U21 Sweden's goalie and right to Nils-Arne Almli. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. U21 Sweden's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 82nd minute Jørgen Axelsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stig Siöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. U21 Norway's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Markus Nordvik in the 85th minute. A collision led to U21 Norway getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tormod Sommerseth hit a great ball. Jani Toppinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ole-Kristian Hole made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jani Toppinen sent off a good shot on target. Jani Toppinen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ole-Kristian Hole having to make a save. Jani Toppinen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Ole-Kristian Hole made a huge save. 92 minutes into the match, U21 Sweden's goal looked a bit too open when Nils-Arne Almli came free, but Stig Siöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 96 played minutes U21 Sweden got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Lind.
