Jasmin Đupić made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Mait Kansi sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Estonia's Jasmin Đupić threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mait Kansi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Mateo Letica made the kick off in the second half. Taavet Viigipuu made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Grgur Kapor sent off a good shot on target. Mait Kansi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasmin Đupić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Estonia's Taavet Viigipuu got control of the ball when Mateo Letica tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Croatia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
