Galin Dzhumayski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jule Gris, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Galin Dzhumayski made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Terry Teikov sent off a good shot on target. In the 17th minute Alexi Tropchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexi Tropchev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, U21 Bulgaria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nasko Ivanov to maneuver through the defense. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nasko Ivanov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nasko Ivanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nasko Ivanov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Mouritz Hikon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of U21 Bulgaria:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of U21 Denmark:s goal. The goalkeeper, Galin Dzhumayski, was totally fooled by U21 Denmark's Terry Teikov, who 51 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terry Teikov to strike the kick off in the second half. Galin Dzhumayski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergei Hestehave in the 56th minute of play. The throw-in from Vagnar Brylet in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by U21 Bulgaria's Vihren Vangelov. U21 Denmark's Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nasko Ivanov in the 59th minute of play. If Nasko Ivanov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Galin Dzhumayski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergei Hestehave in the 62nd minute of the match. Galin Dzhumayski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boris Jarleif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. U21 Bulgaria made a substitution. Varban Pomenov replaced Alexi Tropchev. U21 Denmark's Freddie Vagsheim was substituted for Sergei Hestehave. U21 Bulgaria's Roman Prohaska quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Vagnar Brylet, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Nasko Ivanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen having to make a save. Oberst-Wilhelm Von Bischhoffshausen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nasko Ivanov, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 83rd minute, Serafim Bakev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Denmark's Roger Hokser was substituted for Terry Teikov. Vagnar Brylet made in the 99th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by U21 Bulgaria's Roman Prohaska. When the referee ended the match the U21 Denmark players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
