As for coaches, I think you know you seem to have too many at a big weekly expense.As for coaches, think about the quality of coach your team needs. This should help give you a better understanding of coaches and Training Camps http://www.mentaldog.com/mz/coaches_and_training.htm

Thanks John. Yeah, I read that page along with many posts in the Forum. Seems like there's consensus that a good balance is to have a few coaches, all of which don't need to have many balls. Would you agree with that summary?

having coaches is ok, but having coaches that you cannot afford is one of the worst things that could possibly happen to you, and will result in you heading towards bankrupcy, you need to evaluate the coaches you have, and compare salary to skill factor. for example, Quintin Gaines, maybe you could shop for a coach and knock the salary down by more than half,
you have fourteen coaches, it is good to have a coach for..
speed..
stamina..
play intelligence..
ball control..
tackling..
shooting..
passing..
keeping..
aerial passing..
you have a lot of coaches at similar or way too high value, for your youth players, you should look for the least salary and best skill factor..
im my opinion you need to fire a lot of coaches and look at the least amount it will cost you to hire a coach in an area such as passing to meet your players demands, do not hire a coach with far too many skill balls than you need, you need to economise dramatically..

Thanks heddo. I've always sacrificed squad size to keep this many coaches, thinking that having a coach on every skill that is trained by a player is maximizing the players' benefits. If I fire coaches, I'll have players that train without a coach. Is that what you do? If so, so you do that with youth or seniors?

all of your coaches have four figure salaries, you can hire coaches for youth players with 3 figure salaries, the saving will be huge, you should hire a cheaper coach and then select a coach to fire. your senior players need to have coaches , for youths , you have the option of training camp packages, there is a free youth training camp available and you can allso use really cheap coaches..

i suppose you could have 14, but seriously you need to economise on some of them, look for coaches under 1000 k and try to replace some of the ones you have with cheaper ones.. for skills like heading go cheap and i would not even bother with set plays..

I agree with heddo,cheap coaches can be better than megabucks ones for certain areas you need for the players. I am trying to recruit very cheap coaches with at least 1 or 2 more skill ball in the area I need to to train badly for my players. Patience is a wonderful thing...not. lol :)
