Penalties and Set Plays

Right ... what is the offical stats needed for these. im assuming... Penalties - best stat is shooting set plays ... best stats are set plays and crossing confirmation?Right ... what is the offical stats needed for these.

I have found both for peno's and free kicks, you are better off just trying different players in your friendlies and seeing who appears to be the most consistant at taking both corners and free kicks (forget the shooting side of frre kicks mind). Of coarse the skills you mention will also help, but as we tend to train the ariel passing and set plays last, I have found some players seem better than others definitely with the free kicks and corners. My experience is for penalty's: set plays, experiece, play intellegence and stamina (if the penalty is at the end of te game) but it's only an opinion. i have this same question as the person who posted and his question remains largely unanswered. My experience is that my 10 ball shooting striker misses most penalties and I cannot recall ever scoring on a free kick. What to do? the thing is here is that there is a lot of randomness involved, there is an element of percentages, scoring from a free kick is rare, it is much more less to happen it would seem in this sim, scoring from a header used to be very rare, but the sim has changed, it is how the game now enfolds.. elsalvador, on penalties, try another player, maybe best experience, but just change to suit, and on free kicks, think about a free kick on the half way line, you want a defender or defensive midfielder passing the ball up to your 10 ball striker, so that he can head or shoot for goal..having your best forward take free kicks means that you take him away from the position he should be in, goal scorer..most of the time you will see that when you watch your team playing a friendly, if there is something that you are not happy about, then you have to make the change, to then make things work better for you, there are no set guidelines, if there were then i imagine every result would end up 1.1the thing is here is that there is a lot of randomness involved, there is an element of percentages, scoring from a free kick is rare, it is much more less to happen it would seem in this sim, scoring from a header used to be very rare, but the sim has changed, it is how the game now enfolds..
