I wonder if some of you technos out there can try and find something for me.
I bought my daughter a Logik L19DVDB11 TV/DVD Combi recently.
Works fine apart from playback from a USB stick.
I'm trying to find out which type of film file this TV is capable of playing back from a usb.
I have read through the manual and looked online but cannot find this info.....perhaps some eagle eye out there can help please.
I tried to play back one of the Twilight films for her in Xvid format and it wouldn't play ?......I'm stumped ????
Help !

i dont know how to use a USB stick, but i know about compatibility for cd/dvd,
when you have a movie it obviously has to be compatible with the thing you are going to watch it on,
it becomes incompatible when it is on the wrong type of disc for the drive, or when it is recorded in non compatible playback versions,
first thing is that an xvid file is called a data file and is pc friendly for playback
european tvs are set to receive PAL recorded formats rather than NTSC
if i recorded a movie file in xvid, it would not play on a DVD player, but would play on a pc, so there is a clue for you..
as i havent used a stick, then i am not going to guess that the file type versions are the same for the stick as a DVD ,
but i have fished out a thread that may help, although it is sony related, see if any of these fellas on the forum can help you.

i was hesitant to name possible compatible file types, but from the forum, MP 4 and MPEG 1 , MPEG files are used in DVD movies , MP 4 are related to mobile phone video files , so could be stick friendly too..

I think the issue here is the fact you are trying to play a twilight film :P
