it is available to watch on one or two channels along with brazilian club football, i dont have the channel, but when i did i did not really get interested, the live games are on at like 4 am in the morning, just for a few weeks in the close season we are starved of football, i think there is a market for recorded overseas football in this period, however i can remember the world cup of 1978, and then ardiles and villa, maradona, argentinian football has brought great players to the game for the last 40 years and with tevez making a great impact in england and messi in spain,it continues to do so, tell me, which young players i should be looking out for..

Look out for Iturbe, he is only 17 i beleive. Erik lamela is also quite young. Boca Juniors' Araujo has been linked with a move to Barcelona and so has the U-20 national team goalkeeper.

I'm looking forward to seeing Aguero in the Premier League, he's looked a high-quality player from when I've seen him now and then for Athletico Madrid and Argentina. I also hope Tevez stays because he's great to watch too.

I love the story Roberto Baggio tells about Argentine football fans, specifically Boca:
"One rainy Sunday, I was at my house with a friend and I saw a game on TV. The score was 4-0 and it was at the Boca stadium, La Bombonera. At one point they scanned across the crowd at the Boca fans; they danced, they sang, they twirled flags and banners. A contagious joy. I said to my friend, "It's beautiful to do this when their team is winning." And he turned to me and said "Roberto, are you watching? Boca are losing 0-4!"… From that moment Boca has become my team. That stadium gives me incredible feelings."

I would've anyway liked one day to attend at least one Argentinian league match, ideally say Boca v River, but that encouraged me further.

Also, for me Argentina have given the world the greatest-ever player in Maradona and the greatest current player in the world, Messi. As footballers, both a pleasure to watch. I would've loved to see them win the World Cup with Maradona in charge and all, it's a shame he didn't kowtow just a bit and stay on in the job.

As a bit of balance though, I must say I dislike that system of "3-season points average" and even more so the idea of expanding the league, the current proposal. Too much favouritism towards the traditional bigger teams.
