Coalition for a new simulator

As it can be seen in the rare appearances of Crew nowadays on the forums, they don't seem to believe that a new simulator is actually a priority and they are even having Marcus, the guy brought especially (at least claimed) for improving the simulator, working on other stuff. Okay, maybe they just don't understand how many of us believe that the main priority in order to save this game (or make it better) is a new simulator (aside establishing some form of communication with the communities) so I decided to help them understand this. And I need your support! Thus, I hereby establish the Coalition for a New Simulator, in brief CNS, which is, for the moment, a topic where we are gathering subscriptions to this noble idea, in order to show that a new simulator should actually be the foremost priority in this game. A simple "+1" will suffice to show your adhesion to CNS - if you want to insert some brief comments, please go ahead but remember that this is a thread to see how many we actually are. Guys, Thank you all for the support shown in this thread but as mentioned previously, Crew have become very aware of this thread and have put in place a plan to work and change the sim, as most of us in here (and not only) requested. So, from my point of view, any discussion in here is useless as it's goal was reached and I would suggest continuing in the specific new H2H sim threads that Patrick created, in order to provide useful feedbacks for the future sim. In other words (take it as a request for a FA)... ~~~ topic closed ~~~Guys,

Coco, this topic proved that the sim was, is and will always be the main concern of the communities. At the time this topic, created across all national forums, lead to a rather interesting change in the simulator. Well... you got your wish with the wings part at least..... to be honest, even if I don't think the 2011 was a masterpiece, I believe it was a lot better than the current one. People always complain about the SIM, I complain too because I want better but I don't think the SIM back in 2011 was as random as the SIM is today and I recall games where a lot more fun to watch too... So if there's no money for a new SIM (and I'm not talking about tweaking this one), then maybe recycling older SIMs could be an option to bring back some fun into the game....

Btw, found an old video on youtube comparing the "old" 2011 SIM wings play to the "new" 2011 SIM wings play... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lRmi3iuG4k Now it seems that on the "new" 2011 SIM wings play, the winger didn't just run on the side and crossed the ball in the air, if I go by the comparison, it seems that on the first versions of the current SIM wings worked nicer... by nicer I mean, sometimes the winger would pass the wall on the ground, sometimes he'd take a crack at goal and sometimes he would cross the ball in the air... Like I said, I think it's worth exploring older versions of the SIM... The difference being that that sim worked with players who didnt even aerial passing. I played and won 2 U23 National Cups with that tactic with 75% of my squad lacking aerial passing. Also, even more so than this SIM, that tactic couldnt be defended. No, the '11 Sim was a [u]real[/u] trainwreck.

+1 I have sold all my players and only login now occasionally for NT sake. Many of my friends all over MZ have already left. All SIM updates after the first wing domination season for me were mostly Superficial. The sim does not reflect the players stats or formation better. Even after seeing n trying countless game you can never be sure.(except for wings which is pretty static n boring formation wise)+1

Umm...it does. I don't know why people complain. Wings is a much more realistic tactic than the weird short passing formation that everyone uses. Short passing is as much of an exploit as wings. Wings does not even dominate anymore since the sim update.

I have been a long time away, and have little desire to get into this much. However the post 2011 sim has been less good as I remember. The whole having to "learn" the sim each time was a pain in the arse. However my understanding was there was not the resources to build a new sim that resembled football. I was told so in very strong, and non too polite terms.
