Many have followed discussions about the attendance at all matches in the forums, in just about all languages. The issue has been that many feel the attendance went down too much in the break.
The reason the shift in the number of spectators were made was because we all agreed that we did not want a number one in a lower division to ever have more spectators than the lower team in the division above.
That means each division has to have a more compressed span of spectactor range because the lower team can not not be too far away from the top team. Any divisions number or spectators cannot pass over the number that one above or below would have. What we did was that we adjusted the spectator levels towards the middle of what we had and that means that some that were used to be in the top got less spectators and those that are used to be in the bottom got a little more. Compressed in other words.
With that compression some now have a little more than they are used to (if you are a team that is usually in the bottom) but many active managers that are used to see themselves in the top all of a sudden have quite a few less spectators at their matches. From an income perspective it was adjusted so we all had a little more left over but less spectators.
For those with larger stadiums now have the decision to potentially remove a few seats. Confirmation was wanted from us if any changes were to be made. Well we have discussed and discussed among all the worlds GA:s and the decision is that we will do a very, very small change. We will raise the number of spectators by 5% and make no change in ticket prices which means that we will all get slightly more income.
All in all we came to the conclusion that we can make it even more fun if we redesign the funtion for the stadium as well as how the spectators make it to the games. However that is a major redesign and for now we are all settleing that we will make this minor change and stick to that.
This 5% increase will be on all matches and will be active as of Tuesday next week.
