Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maciej Ramzinski kicked off to start the match. Şentürk Belen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Ramzinski in the 4th minute of play. Şentürk Belen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Ramzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onurhan Orun came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Maciej Wolczewski could save by the left post. With an all-out effort, U21 Turkey's Maciej Wolczewski threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Onur Abuska, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 20th minute, Orçun Talat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. U21 Turkey's Şentürk Belen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Korneliusz Kolbert in the 23rd minute of play. U21 Poland's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kamil Glik in the 25th minute. After taking down the ball on U21 Poland's corner Kamil Glik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Şentürk Belen quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as U21 Turkey's Onurhan Orun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maciej Wolczewski. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. 31 minutes into the match, U21 Turkey's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Kolbert came free, but Şentürk Belen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Korneliusz Kolbert made a precise shot to the right of Şentürk Belen. U21 Turkey's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Maciej Wolczewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Varol Nurkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A hard shot 37 in the game by Onurhan Orun from a close distance when the talented Maciej Wolczewski managed to make a qualified save. U21 Poland's players were relieved. Maciej Wolczewski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onur Abuska's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Poland's zone, Ahmet Ozan Serdengeçti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maciej Wolczewski came out of the goal and Ahmet Ozan Serdengeçti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Onurhan Orun was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Önder Cebi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Turkey and the U21 Poland players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when U21 Turkey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Cebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maciej Wolczewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Önder Cebi in the 54th minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match, Korneliusz Kolbert tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şentürk Belen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Şentürk Belen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gwidon Wykowski in the 65th minute of the match. Önder Cebi was shown his second yellow card after 66 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 66th minute, Önder Cebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when U21 Turkey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Önder Cebi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The U21 Poland fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when U21 Poland's Korneliusz Kolbert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Varol Nurkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esen Irgatbaşı in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maciej Wolczewski saved U21 Poland from getting behind. U21 Turkey were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after U21 Poland's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ahmet Ozan Serdengeçti took the corner. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Orçun Talat got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-2. 81 minutes into the match. Şentürk Belen made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Maciej Ramzinski sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Varol Nurkan during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Varol Nurkan kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
