The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juventus PTM's Armando Gazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Dolfo in the 12th minute of play. If Fermin Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Victorio Breogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juventus PTM's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Fermin Dolfo scored to the left of an out of position Armando Gazza, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldinho Messias in the 37th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basri İhtiyar came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Juventus PTM's Osvaldinho Messias. But to his dismay, Osvaldinho Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Yalapa made a substitution. Cristobal Isusko replaced Teofilo Umbruso. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldinho Messias got free with Basri İhtiyar in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Yalapa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Basri İhtiyar should have stopped the shot. Yalapa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Osvaldinho Messias scored to the left of an out of position Basri İhtiyar, making the score, 1-3. Juventus PTM played a much better game than Yalapa and deserved their victory. The Yalapa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
