In the 3rdth minute of the game Musa Bardakçı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Freestylers's Musa Bardakçı in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Szczecin's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute, Musa Bardakçı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freestylers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 14 minutes, Mathias Abstreiter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Freestylers and the Pogoń Szczecin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Philipp Schulz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Major, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute of the match Pogoń Szczecin got a corner. Freestylers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ryszard Czerwiec ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Pogoń Szczecin's Norbert Major getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Björn Lachenicht fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freestylers's protests and gave Björn Lachenicht a yellow card for diving instead. Björn Lachenicht hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Philipp Schulz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Darko Pančev sent off a good shot on target. Sebastião Xoxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Svan in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Mattias Svan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Xoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Darko Pančev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Abstreiter, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Anselmo Doris hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Mattias Svan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darko Pančev in the 58th minute of play forced Freestylers's goalkeeper Philipp Schulz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastião Xoxe made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Mathias Abstreiter sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Mathias Abstreiter took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Sebastião Xoxe to make any attempt to save it. In the 66th minute, one of Freestylers:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Freestylers. Freestylers made a substitution. Matthias Büssinger replaced Mattias Svan. Freestylers's Glenn Strömberg was substituted for Mathias Abstreiter. Freestylers made a substitution. Olli Schütz replaced Guido Eumann. In the 70th minute Pogoń Szczecin were awarded a corner. Ryszard Czerwiec went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Pogoń Szczecin's corner Ryszard Czerwiec fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Philipp Schulz quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Büssinger, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pogoń Szczecin's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 81st minute Lucjan Adamowicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philipp Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goalkeeper Sebastião Xoxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Büssinger. Freestylers were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Pogoń Szczecin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olli Schütz took the corner. The corner led to Freestylers's Cesar Nafarroa getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Adamowicz came free, but Philipp Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lucjan Adamowicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philipp Schulz was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the Freestylers defense, Lucjan Adamowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Philipp Schulz. The Freestylers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Philipp Schulz should have stopped the shot. The Freestylers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Freestylers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
