Mondi Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Aírton Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sorin Petruescu got free with Cido Varela in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Perutxo in the 28th minute of play forced Ciseski‘s's goalkeeper Cido Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Edmond Boureau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mondi Muslera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Cido Varela threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Abelardo Perutxo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mondi Muslera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Romário's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The supporters of KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS booed when Ciseski‘s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanniek Van Laeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmond Boureau to make the kick off. After 54 minutes of play, KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Abelardo Perutxo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cido Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the match, Ciseski‘s's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Perutxo came free, but Cido Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cido Varela came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's Juan-Ramón Verón. But to his dismay, Juan-Ramón Verón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-2. KaRaBaĞLaR !! - URAS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
