With a little luck, SSTB ICHHASSEGELB★DAC★'s Gică Zăvoiu got control of the ball when Boruc Solarek tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, KP Brzeg Dolny's Gwidon Fleszar got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gică Zăvoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boruc Solarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Boruc Solarek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gică Zăvoiu. The goal made the score 2-0. Miroslaw Sikola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Iuonaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, SSTB ICHHASSEGELB★DAC★'s goalkeeper Gică Zăvoiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Boruc Solarek. After 26 played minutes SSTB ICHHASSEGELB★DAC★ got a freekick which was hit by Radu Urduban. In the 27th minute, Cosmin Ruşdea had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boruc Solarek during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to KP Brzeg Dolny getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Boruc Solarek hit a great ball. Tomasz Chojnacki received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gică Zăvoiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomasz Chojnacki slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 31st minute. Gică Zăvoiu made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Boruc Solarek sent off a good shot on target. Gică Zăvoiu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boruc Solarek went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boruc Solarek got free with Gică Zăvoiu in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Costel Vărzaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SSTB ICHHASSEGELB★DAC★'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Brzeg Dolny the free kick. The supporters of KP Brzeg Dolny booed when SSTB ICHHASSEGELB★DAC★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Vărzaru didn't get a good kick on the ball.
