Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cipriano do Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano do Vale in the 18th minute of play forced Recolta Alamor's goalkeeper Grigore Proca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaine Schaffer got free with Ramón Neto in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Igor Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Grigore Proca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. BRASIL.Sp's Ramón Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Bateman in the 48th minute of play. Recolta Alamor's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Norman Donnelly in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on Recolta Alamor's corner Norman Donnelly fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramón Neto quite easily take care of the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blaine Schaffer to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Armando Luz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Grigore Proca. That made the score 0-7 in the 96 minute of play. The BRASIL.Sp supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BRASIL.Sp would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
