Glauco Velloso came out of the goal and Yngve Gallin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hugo Hammarström fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frinnaryd's protests and gave Hugo Hammarström a yellow card for diving instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Márcio Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nando da Costa took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fritz Eckegren. Fritz Eckegren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 65 minutes into the match, Frinnaryd's goal looked a bit too open when Nando da Costa came free, but Fritz Eckegren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Garcia in the 78th minute of play forced Frinnaryd's goalkeeper Fritz Eckegren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frinnaryd's goalkeeper Fritz Eckegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Yngve Gallin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Fritz Eckegren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nando da Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Shark FC - FSCMZ played a much better game than Frinnaryd and deserved their victory. The Frinnaryd players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
