With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilbeirt Dempsey in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis Santos saved Boca Juniors from getting behind. Zbigniew Kurwil struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Luis Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Górnik Wałbrzych 1946.
