Philippe-Arnaud Heremans started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by 巩挺翀 in the 5th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Hakan Yayalp saved Kilyos FC from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Kilyos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans came free, but Mustafa Hakan Yayalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner. Kris Van Eersel went to the cornerflag to take it. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fre van Eijnde in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erdeniz Karadeniz in the 12th minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 13th minute of the match. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gong Hong Zhan. Ali Ömer Vahdet came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henry Van Herendael could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brynn Locking in the 21st minute of play forced The Everett Hawks's goalkeeper Henry Van Herendael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 22 played minutes Kilyos FC got a freekick which was hit by 巩挺翀. The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 巩挺翀 in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, The Everett Hawks's Henry Van Herendael got control of the ball when Ali Ömer Vahdet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Pirlo in the 28th minute of play. Gong Hong Zhan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Henry Van Herendael made a huge save. Fre van Eijnde kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Henry Van Herendael came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilyos FC's Ali Ömer Vahdet. But to his dismay, Ali Ömer Vahdet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the game, Uche Høgh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilyos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Everett Hawks the free kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gong Hong Zhan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Andreas Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Hakan Yayalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Shantala was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a rather tough play, The Everett Hawks's Willem-Jan Grootjans got a free kick in the 59th minute. With a little luck, Kilyos FC's Mustafa Hakan Yayalp got control of the ball when Andreas Pirlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henry Van Herendael showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gong Hong Zhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Van Herendael having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Tanek Fronczak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Asım Arif Özkutal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Hakan Yayalp made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Philippe-Arnaud Heremans sent off a good shot on target. Kilyos FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
