When Beetlejuice's Gabriel Björnberg in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Nestor Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Donnelly, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Wilbert Darden might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Nunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilbert Darden ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 14th minute, Trevor Gallegos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Beetlejuice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Magnus Vibjörnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Luciano Cronshagen in the 18th minute really tested Nestor Nunes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Jerrod Dickinson fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Recolta Alamor's protests and gave Jerrod Dickinson a yellow card for diving instead. Beetlejuice's Nestor Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trevor Gallegos in the 28th minute of play. Recolta Alamor were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Beetlejuice's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luciano Cronshagen took the corner. After taking down the ball on Recolta Alamor's corner Luciano Cronshagen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nestor Nunes quite easily take care of the ball. Nestor Nunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trevor Gallegos in the 33rd minute of the match. Wilbert Darden scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grigore Proca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Matthiessen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Kasey Whitehead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the game, Norman Donnelly was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Recolta Alamor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beetlejuice the free kick. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Norman Donnelly hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trevor Gallegos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Gallegos in the 52nd minute of play forced Beetlejuice's goalkeeper Nestor Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jarl Strömbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Beetlejuice fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Beetlejuice's Gabriel Björnberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Beetlejuice's Nestor Nunes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilbert Darden in the 59th minute of play. Stig Matthiessen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Grigore Proca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gert Jansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Grigore Proca firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Beetlejuice fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Nunes should have stopped the shot. Recolta Alamor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
