The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alba FC's Davide Conte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Lopez in the 5th minute of play. Davide Conte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joaquim Vilar in the 7th minute. A collision led to Alba FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Flavio Fantini hit a great ball. Davide Conte came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by El Canalla de Chicago's Joaquim Vilar. But to his dismay, Joaquim Vilar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Wilbur Hyde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrico De Grandis's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. The Alba FC fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Alba FC's Enrico De Grandis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Carlo Greenberg made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alba FC's Florian Stumpo. 34 minutes into the match, Joaquim Vilar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Alba FC's Davide Conte. Davide Conte was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 41st match minute, Alba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Banana to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Alba FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Claude Mueller went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Alba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Cino didn't get a good kick on the ball. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Andreas Sanchez replaced Matthew Medrano. After a rather tough play, Alba FC's Ciro Cino got a free kick in the 75th minute. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Justin Raines replaced Joaquim Vilar. El Canalla de Chicago's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Claude Mueller in the 84th minute. A nice corner shot did that Claude Mueller got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Davide Conte quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When El Canalla de Chicago's Domingo Lopez in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alba FC's goalie prevented a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Alba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Raines came free, but Davide Conte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Justin Raines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Davide Conte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Justin Raines's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davide Conte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. El Canalla de Chicago had played much better football throughout.
