The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claudinho Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roger Guerra got free with Orestis Karnezis in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orestis Karnezis came out of the goal and Claudinho Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pastor Cambranes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víktor Freire having to interfere. Víktor Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Otero in the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Ibirama Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Barros. 70 minutes into the match, HISPANO FC's Pastor Cambranes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Víktor Freire narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ibirama Futebol Clube's Roger Guerra got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Orestis Karnezis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho Fernandes in the 74th minute of the match. In the 78th minute Claudinho Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orestis Karnezis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Jefferson Otero made a precise shot to the right of Víktor Freire. Ibirama Futebol Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
