An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Arne Åberg in the 15th minute of play forced Kernsdorf SSA's goalkeeper Zbyszek Kaider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Mariusz Bondel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Generoso Gonzalez. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Mihály Mracskó hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Bengt-Arne Åberg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 25thth minute of the game Pedro Ochoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kernsdorf SSA's Zbyszek Kaider was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka got a corner. Kernsdorf SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aaron Jokin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Generoso Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zachary Tuliszewski in the 29th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Ochoa came free, but Zbyszek Kaider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachary Tuliszewski got free with Generoso Gonzalez in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachary Tuliszewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Generoso Gonzalez made a huge save. Generoso Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Bondel in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Generoso Gonzalez had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Tadeusz Siekierka's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariusz Bondel in the 63rd minute of play forced Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's goalkeeper Generoso Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute Mariusz Bondel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka made a substitution. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi replaced Bengt-Arne Åberg. Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka's Wilfredo Bieito quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Konstanty Ratulowski, made in the 70th minute of the game. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty! Sportivo Smirnoff Vodka:s Generoso Gonzalez showed great skill when he stopped Tadeusz Siekierka:s penalty. Kernsdorf SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
