Herbert Oliszewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Roberto Bolt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Oliszewski. KS LEW Chorzów's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roberto Bolt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 15 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Paranaense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Capasso in the 17th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leo Campana. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Campana in the 25th minute of the match. Herbert Oliszewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Capasso in the 33rd minute of play. Herbert Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Bolt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Merusca F&P's Roberto Bolt got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Herbert Oliszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fellipe Capixaba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Merusca F&P fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 46 minutes into the game, Merusca F&P's Florian Capasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Oliszewski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5.

Mauro-Facundo Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Muusik, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 57 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Robert Bugajski. Herbert Oliszewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Walmyr Novaes in the 59th minute. After 70 played minutes Merusca F&P got a freekick which was hit by Vihar Perchemliev. Jedrzej Hajs hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Hélder Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Herbert Oliszewski made a huge save. After 75 minutes, Fábio Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Merusca F&P and the KS LEW Chorzów players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Fábio Trevisan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Degas in the 78th minute of play forced Merusca F&P's goalkeeper Mauro-Facundo Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jedrzej Hajs hit a great ball. Merusca F&P's Walmyr Novaes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for KS LEW Chorzów. KS LEW Chorzów's Herbert Oliszewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélder Fonseca in the 88th minute of play. In the 95th minute Hélder Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Merusca F&P could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KS LEW Chorzów throughout the match.
