The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Tristan got free with Cotera Monar in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cotera Monar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Elivareo in the 7th minute. Urritz Martiniana's late challenge caught a Abuba Akotonon FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urritz Martiniana helped the player get up and apologised. Urritz Martiniana kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Urritz Martiniana was shown his second yellow card after 15 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 16th minute, Urritz Martiniana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th play minute Cecilio Tristan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cotera Monar. 1-0. When DALO S.C.'s Oto Abad in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Abuba Akotonon FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vânderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vânderson Barbosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 31 played minutes DALO S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Loco Alves. After 33 minutes of play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Cecilio Tristan made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cotera Monar was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DALO S.C.'s Mora Liebana got a free kick in the 38th minute. Cotera Monar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Genaro Elivareo in the 39th minute. Cecilio Tristan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 41st playminute. In the 45th minute of the match, Genaro Elivareo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cotera Monar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of DALO S.C. booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute of the match Emilio Vispieres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Orlando Gatti skillfully saved the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cecilio Tristan to make the kick off. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Van Hemel in the 51st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Mora Liebana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cecilio Tristan might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cotera Monar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Tristan ran back to his position shaking his head. Cotera Monar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Emilio Vispieres with Lode Van Hemel as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Cotera Monar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Tristan in the 76th minute of the match. DALO S.C.'s Cotera Monar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Tristan in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Vânderson Barbosa got a free kick in the 79th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's Emiliano Enol was substituted for Cecilio Tristan. 89 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Loco Alves came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Lode Van Hemel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hugo Orlando Gatti. The goal made the score 3-1. Abuba Akotonon FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
