After having played for 4 minutes, Juan Corredor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MILLONARIOS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Corredor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mon Ibaute to maneuver through the defense. After 6 played minutes, PLUMIN's Octavio Deunoro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Videl Mauriz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PLUMIN reached it. In the 7th match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Chepe to maneuver through the defense. PLUMIN's Jorginho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Corredor in the 8th minute of play. 12 minutes into the game, PLUMIN's Mariano Grosso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Videl Mauriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Jorginho Lira got control of the ball when Silban Argomedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Beturian came free, but Videl Mauriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Videl Mauriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Beturian in the 19th minute of the match. Videl Mauriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Silban Argomedo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the MILLONARIOS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silban Argomedo couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute of the match, Silban Argomedo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jorginho Lira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 30th minute Gerardo Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Mauriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Videl Mauriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41st play minutes Silban Argomedo shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Jorginho Lira and just under the crossbar into goal. Juan Corredor's late challenge caught a PLUMIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Corredor helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Corredor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan Corredor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Corredor in the 51st minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Jorginho Lira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Corredor in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Juan Corredor had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorginho Lira. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juan Corredor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mariano Grosso succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. MILLONARIOS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Uhin Encina in the 64th minute. Silban Argomedo made a great header on MILLONARIOS FC's corner, it was just that PLUMIN's Jorginho Lira managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind PLUMIN's goalkeeper Jorginho Lira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of MILLONARIOS FC booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. PLUMIN's Jorginho Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Corredor in the 80th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Juan Corredor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jorginho Lira was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 87th match minute, MILLONARIOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uhin Encina to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silban Argomedo in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorginho Lira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorginho Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Corredor, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Corredor came free, but Jorginho Lira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MILLONARIOS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
