When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Thorbjörn Olerius took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Chiquinho Paulista to make any attempt to save it. Patrick Armstrong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Chiquinho Paulista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Ununger in the 16th minute of the match. Valdo Ramalho's late challenge caught a ManagerZone Crew's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chiquinho Paulista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Linkhorst in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquinho Paulista saved VERONA FC from getting behind. VERONA FC's Chiquinho Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Linkhorst in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, VERONA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luiz das Neves to maneuver through the defense.
