When Jose-Antonio Vazquez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 3 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Başar Öztarhan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gonzalo Boye was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gonzalo Boye got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Başar Öztarhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Antoni Villarroel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başar Öztarhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Jose-Antonio Vazquez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Jose-Antonio Vazquez came free, but Başar Öztarhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Granville's Başar Öztarhan got control of the ball when Antoni Villarroel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Başar Öztarhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose-Antonio Vazquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Başar Öztarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Antonio Vazquez in the 41st minute of play. Granville's attentive Esteve Lia managed to snatch the ball when Ludovít Reis made a throw-in in the 44th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gómez Cruzado made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Granville's Gómez Cruzado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alejandro Verdu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Başar Öztarhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Zanetti in the 55th minute of play. Alejandro Verdu made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gómez Cruzado sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Granville booed when F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miklós Barabás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Granville's Serafino Urko was substituted for Jaime Oskarbi. Granville made a substitution. Mauro Elazar replaced Gómez Cruzado. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA made a substitution. Joan Puig replaced Marc Vilaplana. Granville's Chi-Chi Branca was substituted for José Flores. In the 65th match minute, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Barabás to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Granville defense, Gonzalo Boye kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Başar Öztarhan. The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Başar Öztarhan should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Granville getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Desiderio Tirso hit a great ball. Alejandro Verdu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chi-Chi Branca's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Serafino Urko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alejandro Verdu came out and tried to block the shot, but Serafino Urko slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 83rd minute. After 86 minutes of play, F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA's Federico Zanetti made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Başar Öztarhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Granville's zone, Joan Puig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Başar Öztarhan came out of the goal and Joan Puig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Gonzalo Boye made a precise shot to the right of Başar Öztarhan. Granville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. F.C. AMERICAN BARÇA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
